1.Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AgentDNS at agent-dns.tech(the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2.Description of Service

AgentDNS is an open registry for discovering and resolving AI agents. The Service provides a searchable directory of AI agents, a resolution API for programmatic agent discovery, trust scoring, and agent registration tools.

3.User Accounts

You may sign in using your GitHub account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your API keys with unauthorized parties. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4.Agent Registration

When registering an agent, you agree that:

• The information you provide is accurate and you have the right to register the agent
• Agent data (name, description, endpoints, capabilities) will be publicly visible in the registry
• You will keep registered agent information up to date
• Agents must not be used for illegal, harmful, or deceptive purposes
• We may remove or suspend agents that violate these terms or are reported as malicious

5.API Usage

The AgentDNS API is provided free of charge with the following rate limits:

• Public (unauthenticated): 60 requests per minute
• Authenticated: 600 requests per minute
• Write operations: 30 requests per minute

You must not circumvent rate limits, scrape the service aggressively, or use the API in ways that degrade the experience for other users. We reserve the right to throttle or block access that violates these limits.

6.Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the agent data you submit to the registry. By registering an agent, you grant AgentDNS a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute that data through the registry and API. The AgentDNS name, logo, and website design are our intellectual property.

7.Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of trust scores, agent availability, or the reliability of registered agents. AgentDNS is a directory service. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any agents listed in the registry. Use third-party agents at your own risk.

8.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgentDNS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (currently zero, as the Service is free).

9.Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account and data at any time through the dashboard or by contacting us. Upon termination, your registered agents will be deactivated.

10.Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page for any changes.
